SCIENTISTS LOOKING FOR REASONS FOR LACK OF WARMING

This article discusses the problem of the lack of warming over thE past decade and the attempts of scientists, trying to keep the CO2 hypothesis on track. There is no doubt that if the planet continues to fail to warm serious questions will need answers, or else the CO2 hypothesis will come to a dead end

  1. There might be a very simple explanation for the flat global trend since 1998 -- the Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation. I submit that the AMO has been one of two primary drivers of climate change over the last century (and beyond).

Notice in the previous link that…
Every bit of climate change over the last century can be explained by these two factors. That (somewhat surprisingly) leaves anthropogenic CO2 with no apparent role at all. Of course, we could speculate that whatever tiny bit of warming might have been created by CO2 was completely reversed by the observed negative water vapor feedback.

  2. Good to hear from you. I think what you say makes sense. There is a massive amount of heat in the oceans. We are only observing the surface temperature.
