GERMANY CALLING FOR VOLUNTARY CLIMATE TREATY

This article looks at the new German initiative. Apparently they don't believe the UN system is working (they are right there) and so want to forge ahead with other willing nations. Good luck to them, I say. I am sure the Chinese and the Indians will wish them well, while carrying on with their coal-fired power station building programmes.
